Yukon Solitaire: a guide for your next round
Take a moment with Yukon Solitaire before moving to another game. Build four suit foundations from ace to king. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move. Treat the first round as a chance to learn the controls. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions.
One deck, no stock, Yukon deal. Free solo play, no wagering.
Try a more deliberate round
Read one step at a time and try it on the playing area. Match the instruction to the control you use. Use the example to check your reasoning.
What the game asks you to do
Build four suit foundations from ace to king. The feedback beside the game helps you follow the round. The example below illustrates a decision.
Work through the instructions
- Build down in alternating colours. Any face-up card carries all cards below it, even when unordered. Kings fill empty columns.
- Select a face-up card and then the destination pile or Empty slot.
- Use foundations where available; full Spider or Scorpion runs clear automatically.
- Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.
Choosing and moving on screen
Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. A careful first action helps you become familiar with the layout. Read the example below alongside these instructions.
A closer look at one example
A red 6 carrying an unordered tail can move onto a black 7. Focus on why the action is allowed, not only its outcome. Verify the rule before continuing.
A useful caution
Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. Check the rule before repeating the action. Watch the feedback after an action. A message can explain whether the input was accepted or whether a rule needs attention.
