How to play Letter Link

Read the aim of Letter Link, then make your first move. Find every target word from the six-letter bank. Look at what changes after your first action. Keep the instructions close while learning this activity. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions.

Make words from two letter sets: PLANET and STREAM. Each set uses a selected list of accepted answers.

An idea for your next attempt

Compare the worked example with your own position. Use the reasoning, not an answer copied from a different board. Make the next step deliberately.

The playing sequence

  3. Clear letters to retry.
  4. Find all displayed word lengths.

Keyboard and screen controls

Tap letters and Submit word. Keep the playing area visible while using these controls. Return to the rules if the result is unexpected.

Work through an example

PLANET makes PLANT, PLANE and PETAL. Use the example as a guide rather than a substitute for reading your board. Look for the relevant detail.

Check this before moving on

Not every dictionary word is a target in this curated list. A different version of the game may use a different rule. Before your first action, say what you are trying to achieve. Then compare the result with the goal.
